Hi Soulie

Welcome to the board, and thank you very much for letting me participate in your reading.

I use the standard Rider-Waite deck, and did a three-card past/present/future spread to answer your question:

Card 1: Past of the matter: 5 Wands (reversed)

It seems to me that a situation involving confrontation at work has recently developed; not something major, but significant enough to annoy you. This would be a situation that is now over, but it has had an effect on the way you view your position. It feels like now you are questioning whether to remain at this job or to just move on and do something else.

Card 2: Present: 9 Pentacles (reversed)

This card represents weeding out the things in life that you find unpleasant and either removing them or altering them in some way so that they make you happy. In its' reversed position, I would say that this was not a strong thing for you at the moment, but is instead kind of the background of your life. Metaphorically speaking, you don't want to move out of the house, you just want to give it a good cleaning and maybe a paintjob.

Card 3: Future: 10 Pentacles

A very positive card for you...the 10 of Pentacles signifies financial abundance and prosperity with stability. Trust your abilities and they will reward you with much success.

A side-note: is football significant for you in some way? I'm seeing a man's arm throwing a football.

Card 1-The Present-The important event, issue, attitude or influence around the question or current situation.
Card 2-Obstacles-Current obstacles, problems, conflicts and opposition that the questioner must deal with.
Card 3-The Outcome-The eventual outcome of events shown by the other cards.



Card 1-4 of Pentacles-This card represents your current situation. I interpret it in this situation to mean that you are well trained, very competent and successful right now at what you are doing.
It appears to me that it has been a very rewarding career so far. I get the feeling that you are bored with your job right now though. Has it gotten to be the "same ol, same ol" and you're dreaming of something more exciting and maybe rewarding in different ways?


Card 2-King of Pentacles-This card represents current obstacles in your career. The first thing that popped into mind when I turned this card over was "boss" or a "superior" at work. The qualities of this person are: An experienced businessman, a leader, with mathematical ability. The downside
qualities of this person, seeing as how he's in your obstacle position could be that there is some sort of corruption taking place. Someone that uses any means to achieve their desired outcome.


Card 3-Queen of Cups-This card represents the outcome in the current trend. My first feelings on this is that this lady cancels out any negativity brought about by the King of Pentacles. I believe that her goodness of heart and loving qualities will triumph. I do feel like she represents you. Her qualities include: a dreamer, loving, kind, honest, devoted. She also is a gifted seer and a visionary. I feel good about this card. I think it's telling us that those "dreams" you have of your perfect career aren't only dreams...this lady has the ability to turn them into reality. You have the ability to turn them into reality!


In summary I feel a very positive vibe from this reading. I think that your guides and higher self are trying to inspire you to move on with your goals and dreams. I think that you have previously let this negative Nelly King of Pentacles inhibit you in some way. But, with the Queen of Cups showing up in your outcome position I think it really tells us that you will get around him.
Now, there is a chance of course that this Queen could not represent you, but a person who has those qualities that will help you realize your dream. But, I'm serious, my deep down gut reactions are that you are going to be the one to take your life by the reins and steer it to the course you are
dreaming of.

p.s. at the conclusion of this reading I thought I heard the name "Gary"....had a definite GR sound to it.

Thank you for the opportunity for letting me read for you. I chose to do a 1 card reading for the first time. I'm blown away by what card came up for you.

Ace of Pentacles (Reversed):

As you may or may not know the suit of coins or pentacles deals specifically with career opportunities, failures, and material possessions. How appropriate that one of those cards came up for you. I'm not sure you are familiar with my deck, but the picture is of blossoming golden rose with a white hand coming out of the center holding and supporting a coin with a pentacle on it. It's beautiful symbology. However, with it being reversed or upside down the traditional meaning of the card is somewhat skewed.

You may be looking for a new path in your career, since Aces are beginnings to new and better things. However, you may find that you are being denied the resources you need to start anew. This card warns of taking unnecessary risks. Think things throughly and plan each step before you throw yourself out there. You may feel like things are up in the air at the moment, but as the berries and plants suggest on the coin, little things will come to your rescue. You may not even notice them. (Like I first didn't see them in my description of the card.)

Thank you for taking the time to do a reading for me.

Not sure the meaning of the 5 of wands. I recently started a new job that I absolutely love! Perhaps it could be what I was doing in the past. I have been in the legal profession for about 12 years now and it was becoming mundane. I had gotten to the point where I hater to go to work. In the past couple of years I had taken positions where I was not happy, but I needed a job. MY current position, I am using my legal background but doing something completely different.

With regard to your other cards, I am hoping that being in my current position, things WILL begin to stabolize for me. And I can certainly use the abundance! And yes, I am "weeding" people out of my life wh have drained me emotionally. It has been a process that is for sure. But it was something that I had to do for my own sanity.

Not sure who the guy is with the football, but it sure would be nice to have a male in my life.

Thank you for your reading. I really appreciate you all taking the time to give me a reading.

I WAS in a couple of positions in the past couple of years that were "same ole, same ole". But fortunately I found a new position about a month ago and I really love it.

I think my current boss is a really nice person. I can tell you, that I have had my share of bosses who were not very nice people and yes, they did not care about anyone but themselves.

I use to do a lot of readings in the past and I was pretty good. I put all of that aside over the past couple of years. I had to turn into myself and work on myself. Perhaps one day I will return to reading again.

Yes, I have had some pretty bad bosses in the past that were extremely negative and degrading. I hope that things have finally turned around for me. So I ill take your advice and stay positive.

I don't really know a Gary (although I work with one at my part time job that I have on the weekends, but I don't think it would be him). I do however have a son Gordon, who has decided recently to go and live with his father and his father is not a positive influence in his life. Since he has been with his father, May of this year, he refuses to speak to me and I have not seen him since then. So, he is weighing heavily on my mind and I think of him often and pray that he will come to his senses and come back home to live with me.

Prayers ascending that you and your son are able to rekindle a happy, healthy mother/son relationship. I was a child of divorce and I know how difficult it is, feeling a need to "choose". May God warm your ex's heart and make him see that your son needs the love of two parents, and that it isn't helping Gordon to keep him away from you. White light to you all.
